I’m Caterina Alvarez, welcome to Alvarez Aesthetics
Embarking on my aesthetics journey in 2017, I left my NHS community nursing position in September 2018 to establish Alvarez Aesthetics, a skin-focused clinic dedicated to enhancing natural beauty and empowering self-confidence.
By addressing signs of ageing and promoting a radiant complexion, we help clients feel comfortable and happy with their appearance.

My Specialty
I specialise in subtle, natural enhancements that allow people to feel comfortable and happy in their own skin. When my clients tell me about the compliments they receive from others, such as ‘You look fantastic!’ or ‘Is that a new hairstyle?’ – I know we have succeeded in achieving the perfect tweakments.
Training is incredibly important in the aesthetics industry which is why I hold Basic and Advanced CPD-certificates. I have also completed Masterclass qualifications in facial dermal fillers, botulinum toxin type A, and additional treatments such as skin needling, phlebotomy, skin tightening, chemical peels, dermaplaning, laser skin rejuvenation, and more.
At my Penistone clinic, I will work with patients experiencing early and advanced signs of aging, compromised skin quality, sagging skin, scarring, pigmentation, acne, problematic skin, and various other concerns impacting their self-confidence to give you back your sparkle.
My Background
As a nurse with a background in Community Nursing and Primary Care, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table.
With a First Class Honors degree in Adult Nursing, I have undergone advanced training in managing heart failure patients, respiratory patient care, and non-medical prescribing, which reinforces my dedication to providing exceptional aesthetic services.
My educational background and passion for nursing are driven by my three children, Rico, Mila, and Luna, who motivate and inspire me to excel in everything I do.
